From Family Farm to RV Park To Campground: Our Roots Run Deep

At Skands Campground, when we say we have been making memories for generations, we’re not kidding!

Tracing back to 1909 when Jens Skands, an immigrant from Norway, purchased the property, initially a farm, from Ole Johnson (Johnson Road). From 1909 to 1970, the land thrived as a working farm under the Skands family's care.

In 1970, the Skands brothers, Harold, Einar, and Arnold, transformed the farm into the family-friendly campground we know and love today. You’ll see the reference of three trees standing together in our logo, representing the three brothers.

Originally named 'Skands Brothers Tent and Trailer Court,' then just Skands Court, the campground has evolved into a cherished legacy, still family-owned and run.

Skands Campground stands as a testament to our commitment to family values and providing a welcoming haven for generations seeking the beauty and magic that is Christina Lake, British Columbia.
